2017 Conconully Super Mush Poster, Logo, and Concepts
Since 2015, I’ve helped out with various print and web projects for the Conconully Snow Dog Super Mush, a mid-distance sled dog race in Conconully, WA. My tasks ranged from simple website updates and maintenance, to logo and poster designs. Below is the 2017 poster I designed. I used the dog team image from a photo I took a previous year. The tree background image is by Emily Gibson.
Below are logo options I provided when the race board approached me for a logo redesign. The board voted on the first option since it was easily reproducible for print, screen printing, embroidery, and a variety of other uses for race merchandise. The other logos are additional options I presented in varying styles. In my presentation, I wanted to include how the logo looked on dark and light background, the logo isolated, and when the logo was minimized.
