I'm a multi-disciplinary designer — visual design and product design both, not one dressed up as the other.

Fourteen years in, I've never seen a reason to pick a lane. Most recently, that's meant leading product design for Xfinity and Verizon: untangling permission logic, keeping multi-platform products coherent as requirements shift, and making complex technology understandable to everyday people.

Just as important to me are the people I work with. Some of my best working relationships have long outlasted the projects that started them. I like being the person a teammate feels comfortable pulling aside with a half-formed idea.

Outside of work, I run a kennel of 26 sled dogs in rural Washington. If I'm not at a desk, I'm probably outside with the team — and there's a decent chance I still smell like it when I get back. Fun fact: I was cast in an AT&T commercial where I got to play a dog musher.
